Four decades in HR. One consistent belief: businesses succeed when their people do.

I’ve spent more than 40 years in human resources — in the trenches and in the boardroom. I hold a Juris Doctor, the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation, and the Certified Professional Coach (CPC) credential. For over 22 years I’ve owned and led Prism HR Consulting, advising employers across the country and internationally on HR strategy, employment compliance, and workforce operations.

My client work spans gaming, hospitality, franchising, construction, nonprofits, and the public sector. I’ve served in SHRM chapter and state leadership roles, write a regular column for Gaming & Leisure magazine, and speak frequently at conferences on HR strategy, compliance, and the growing intersection of work and well-being — including workforce caregiving, a defining issue for today’s employers.

I founded Live Well–Work Well™ on a simple premise: well-being isn’t a perk to sprinkle on top of work. It is a condition of sustained performance. That belief now shapes my coaching, my speaking, and my writing.

I’m currently writing at the intersection of human resources and well-being — where the next generation of workplace thinking will be built.

GIVING, UNDER MY OWN NAME

My philanthropy is personal and focused on two commitments: women’s empowerment and animal welfare. I support organizations that open doors for women in business, education, and leadership. I am the founder of The Romeo Fund, a veterinary assistance program under Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, helping families afford critical veterinary care. And I serve on the board of the Henderson Libraries Foundation, supporting literacy in the community I call home.

Away from work, I’m a lifelong traveler working through a 101-country goal, a pickleball player, a piano student, and a devoted human to two Alaskan Klee Kai who supervise my every move from Henderson, Nevada.
